Coaches

All new and returning coaches must complete an on-line application for the 2011 season.

Complete an Application:
Logon to your Registration account (or create an account if you do not have one) and click "register now" next to your name to begin the application process. There is no fee to apply and you must complete the application check-out for us to receive it.

Application Deadline is: April 9, 2011

All returning and prospective head coaches:
To be considered for a Head Coach position, you are required to contribute a minimum of 3 hours during the registration season at our live sign-up booth held at events, such as baseball games, wrestling matches, the Rodeo Parade, the Wine Festival, etc. We will guide you on the information your need to help at a registration event.

In addition, preference is given to coaches that actively recruit players to help us reach our goal of three divisions. If you contact a new or returning player, have them add you name to the registration question "Did a coach take time to talk to you about our league, please tell us his/her name".

All coaches must be approved by LJFL. LJFL will appoint Head coachs and the Head coaches will select assistants from an LJFL approved list. A maximum of 5 coaches are permitted per team.

All team coaches are required to wear an id badge during the game. To obtain yout Team ID badge, you must complete the following

  • Application approved
  • Pass a Background check
  • CPR & First aid training
  • USA Football Coaches Clinic Certification or equivilate

Background checks are conducted through the National Center for Safety Initiatives
